Confetti Trail Mix

In my never-ending quest to prove to my husband that one day I will contemplate going camping somewhere other than the family cabin with all of the modern amenities, I decided to try my hand at making trail mix tonight. (But of course I had to put my own twist on it)

I went to this wonderful store, Fresh to Frozen...don't get scared...it's a grocery salvage store. I know it sounds so bad!! However, you can really find some amazing deals and it is worth your while to check it out. Today, they had walnuts, almonds, and pecans all on sale for dirt cheap AND they were not salted or anything. I got a bag of each kind and headed home. I knew I already had a few items and only needed to pick up some add ins that Matt would like. We decided to add in some coconut, craisins and white chocolate chips. So maybe I'm not ready for the real camping trip yet, but any excuse to put coconut into something is alright with me!

The best part....I added in sprinkles too!! Everything is better with sprinkles!!

Below is the recipe. Hope you enjoy!

Confetti Trail Mix

12 oz Chopped Walnuts
12 oz Raw Almonds
12 oz Chopped Pecans
1/2 C White Chocolate Chips
1/2 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 C coconut
1 bag Craisins
1/4 C SPRINKLES!

Place all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Toss together and you are done! Put two small scoops in snack bags. The recipe should make about 16 snack sized bags.
